If you were convicted of a felony in the state of Alaska that you did not commit, if DNA or other tangible evidence exists that could establish your innocence, and if you have exhausted all of your legal remedies, you may be eligible for assistance by the Alaska Innocence Project. Send us a letter explaining your case and requesting our assistance. If you meet basic eligibility requirements, we will reply with a detailed questionnaire for you to complete.
If you are a friend or family member of someone who meets the above criteria, please do not contact us directly but have the eligible person send us a letter.
