The Alaska Innocence Project (AIP) has achieved non-profit corporation status. Application for 501(c)(3) status has been submitted to the IRS.
The AIP is now in the process of an intense fundraising campaign (please check out the Events Page) in anticipation of hiring a full-time Executive Director.
If you would like to help support our efforts to identify and exonerate the innocent in Alaska, here are some options open to you:
Monetary Contributions
We are happy to accept your tax deductible contribution*, in any amount you can afford. You can send us a check in any amount desired, payable to: Alaska Innocence Project. To make a pledge, simply email us with your pledge amount. We will be in touch with you to complete your donation.
Gift-in-Kind Donations
We are in need of supplies and equipment for our office. Please contact us for a current list of our needs. We are currently looking for a web geek willing to volunteer to develop a permanent web site for us. If this is you, please email us!
Volunteering
We are currently seeking volunteers in a number of capacities, but primarily in the area of fundraising. If you are interested in helping out as a volunteer, please contact us.
